Hamilton Relay, telecommunications relay service provider for the state of Maine, has awarded a $500 college scholarship to Jacob Buck, a student of Presque Isle High School of Presque Isle, Maine.
The Hamilton Relay Scholarship opportunity is offered to high school seniors who are deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind or have difficulty speaking. A recipient is selected within each of the states where Hamilton is the contracted relay service provider and is one of several ways the company gives back to the communities they serve.

Jacob Buck was awarded the $500 Hamilton Scholarship after completing an application and writing an essay under the topic of communication technology. Jacob plans to attend the University of Maine at Orono this Fall to study electrical engineering.
