Shawn Tulloch selected for Hamilton Relay 2016 Deaf Community Leader Award for the State of Montana

Shawn Tulloch of Belgrade, Montana has been selected as the Hamilton Relay Deaf Community Leader Award recipient for the state of Montana. Shawn is described by her peers as a good leader and a problem solver.

Shawn is an active member of the Montana Association for the Deaf (MAD). She served as secretary from 2011 to 2013 and is a committee member for the MAD Facebook page. In addition, Shawn served as the chair of the MAD conference in Kalispell in 2013 and in Bozeman in 2015. Shawn also stepped in as an MAD delegate for the National Association of the Deaf (NAD) conference that was held this past summer. While at NAD, she was selected to be on NAD’s screening committee.

Shawn is also an active volunteer for the Gallatin Association of the Deaf (GAD) and served as secretary. She has also been involved with the Montana School for the Deaf and Blind (MSDB) Foundation Board.
