Stacy Ridgway of Clarksville, Indiana has been selected as the Hamilton Relay 2020 Better Hearing and Speech Month Recognition Award for the state of Kentucky. According to her peers, Stacy’s care and concern for the community to have access to effective communication is truly genuine.
Stacy is an active member of the Kentuckiana Chapter of the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA), serving as the Southern Indiana representative. She is also the chapter’s newsletter editor where her gifts for communication and editing keep everyone informed. She has also served as a steering committee member and panel organizer for the Louisville Commission for Accessibility Association.
In addition to her volunteer work, Stacy is the former Manager of Access Services for the Kentucky Center for the Arts. She was responsible for the coordinating open captions for the Broadway Series and Actors Theatre performances.
