The achievements and contributions of Jerald "Jay" Edwin Sanders over the years have been extraordinary. He is a dedicated and dependable individual who has contributed to the Hard of Hearing and Deaf communities in Georgia.
Jay currently serves as Music Director at Crussell Freeman Church of the Deaf in Atlanta where he readily shares his time and talent in furthering the church's programs, including their musical program. As part of their activities, he and the choir travel to other churches attended by individuals who hear to share the enthusiasm and zest for music that is displayed by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Among the above mentioned accomplishments, Jay was, and still is, a great motivator. He plans tours and trips for individuals in his community and volunteers as a DJ for the Georgia Association of the Deaf-Blind.
Jay has been described as loving, supportive, loyal and faithful to serving the others, including his community, family and friends. We are pleased recognize and share Jay's efforts and involvement in the Hard of Hearing and Deaf communities in Georgia.
