Hamilton Relay, Telecommunications Relay and Captioned Telephone Service provider for the state of Montana, has awarded a $500 college scholarship to Jace Williams, a student of Helena High School from Helena, Montana.
The Hamilton Relay Scholarship opportunity is available to high school seniors who are deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind or have difficulty speaking. A recipient is selected within each of the states where Hamilton is the contracted service provider and is one of several ways the company gives back to the communities it serves.
“Hamilton takes pride in creating opportunities for higher education and promoting outstanding leadership across the country,” said Montana Relay Outreach Coordinator, Emilie Pennie. “We are excited to have the opportunity to contribute to furthering Jace’s education and wish him success in reaching his personal and professional goals.”
Jace was awarded the $500 Hamilton Relay Scholarship after completing an application and writing an essay under the topic of communication technology. Jace plans to attend Helena College University of Montana this fall to complete his general education before transferring to a four year college.
