Christine Constantineau selected for Hamilton Relay 2016 Better Hearing and Speech Month Recognition Award for the State of Rhode Island

May, 19 2016

Christine Constantineau has been selected as the Hamilton Relay 2016 Better Hearing and Speech Month Recognition Award recipient for the state of Rhode Island. Christine is described by her peers as both compassionate and hard working.

Christine is an active member of the Bell Street Chapel in Providence. She has taken her knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) and shared this with the church’s congregation by teaching members ASL to sign hymns. Christine also volunteers as a committee chair on the Peace and Social Justice Committee and the Welcoming Committee. She is currently working on a grant to provide congregation members who are deaf or hard of hearing with the appropriate accommodations. In addition, Christine actively engages the congregation’s youth in conversations about accessibility, leadership and spiritual development.

We commend Christine for her dynamic and inspirational leadership and are proud to present her with the Hamilton Relay 2016 Better Hearing and Speech Month Recognition Award for the state of Rhode Island.

This leadership recognition has been brought to you by Hamilton Relay.
